I do my research and came across this articls about the history of Homeboyz. Homeboyz radio has off late helped push K-Nel's tracks to the public and therefore we decided to give them a shout out.
Founded by three brothers Alph, Mike and John (also known as DJ John), Homeboyz is a name known to many. What I like is the fact that the Rabar brothers have steered this to become a multi-million enterprise. According to Alph, the group has 12 companies, including the Homeboyz DJ School, Homeboyz Music Technology Academy, Homeboyz Activate and HP TV that produces commercials, Homeboyz Animate Company, Homeboyz Soundtrax, Homeboyz Events, the now famous Homeboyz Radio and Homeboyz Power Radio — a gospel station they launched recently.´They have even struck a multi-million deal with Warner brothers to create a Kenyan Game featuring characters like Jua Kali and Wyre.
The latest addition to the Homeboyz Group, and one that surprised many people, is the H20 Beverages Company. Just a month ago, they bought one of the biggest fully automated water plants in the country — the 10,000 square-metre Haha Water Factory in Athi River for over Sh100 million. In other words, the sky is the limit.
