If you don't know, now you know. The Godfather of Genge himsef will be smashing the Stage at the Quäker Hall in Cologne (Next to the Stadtgarten) tonight. He will perform some of his classic hits including Keroro, Furahi Day, Kumbuka and his latest hit "Kadhaa". He will be supported by DJ Toxiq and yours truly........myself! Nonini will be in Cologne for the next 10 days where am expected to work with him in the studio on a couple of projects including a video shoot. This will be one busy August and I will quote Nonini's words "niko ndani ya Slope ya K-Nel for the next 4 weeks". After tonight's show, we have another epic concert planned for next week on the 15.08.09. I will keep you updated.
I want to take this opportunity to thank the doubting "Thomases" who had started spreading the dirty word that Stars Limit and Beat-Vybe Djz will not host Mejja tonight. It's true, but since we respect our community, we came up with a plan B and Nonini will be our act for tonight. Frankfurt,Cologne,Münich,Hamburg,Stuttgart. Hamuwezi hata hii show!!!

ARTISTS UNITE TO SAVE THE MAU FOREST + STL & K-NEL COLLABO IN THE MAKING.

Kenyan singer STL, who is based in Norway, will be landing in the country later this month for a series of concerts aimed at raising funds, and awareness in the conservation of the besieged Mau Forest.
The singer has also expressed interest in teaming up with Nobel Peace Prize winner Wangari Mathai's Green Belt movemen, to further her quest to conserve the environment.
The issues surrounding Mau Forest, a source of water for several lakes and rivers in the East African region have currently been dominating local headlines, making it the focus of various serious discussions and initiatives.
STL will be performing 5 back to back concerts from Sunday 23rd to Thursday 25th August at the Thika municipal stadium. Several other artists and DJs are expected to perform at the same event.
The singer is currently working on a remix song with Kenya’s new kid on the block, ‘K-nel’, that will also feature Mr. Lenny.
