I want to thank everybody who came through yesterday and showed support. A lot of International acts have performed on the same stage like I did and have even been booed by the crowd. Yesterday was the 1st time an African act stepped on that stage. There were mixed reactions as to how the crowd will embrace my show. The performance has now been nicknamed "K-Nel's demolition".

FABOLOUS "IT'S MY TIME" VIDEO (ANGLOHILI PREMIERE)

This is one project that I have been waiting for anxiously. Fabolous "Loso" has been consistent for years and dude never dissapoints. I always say he resemble's Jay-Z in many ways and I guess many will agree. This video reminds me of Jay-Z's "The Street Is Watching", even the dress code only that Jay didn't wear glasses on that clip. Damn!!! It's my time joint goes in hard! The beat with the bumping baseline, the hook and Fabo's witty lines. The song does not dissapoint at all. The turning point is when Ryan Lesly get's in the picture. The piano sound is sick and Fabo's flow fit's perfect. One of my favorite songs released so far this year.
Fabolous "Loso's Way" album drops in June via Def Jam. A movie titled "Loso's Way" drops with it. It's a nice marketing strategy but soon or later it will be overplayed. 50 Cent is dropping BSD with a movie. Let's wait and see.

3: Busta Rhymes (Back On My BS)-59 000 Units.

Mmh? What happened to Busta? Meth & Red only had one video, Busta debuted about 3-4 singles plus a mixtape and still sold less than Red & Meth? The music game has really changed. Ask me and I will say, Busta should have dropped that album when Arab Money came out which had a big global hype with everyone doing the Arab money Dance. That would have been a smarter move. Eminem is the biggest Hip Hop selling artist of all times with over 34 million units sold (Not to mention the digital downloads?

T.K.O OF THE MONTH: PITBULL SMACKS A FAN FOR THROWING MONEY ON STAGE.

The most amazing thing about this, Pitbull didn't miss the beat and went on performing his verse like nothing happened. If you watch closely, the jab got the dude right in the face. That's a Mayweather punch right there. Pitbull should step on the boxing ring one day.

Mike Tyson's Daughter Dies After Hanging Accident.

Mike Tyson's 4-year-old daughter, Exodus Tyson, has died after accidentally hanging herself on a piece of exercise equipment at home.
Phoenix Police Department Officer James Holmes told TVGuide.com that Exodus Tyson died at 11:45 a.m. (MST) in what he called a "tragic accident." An autopsy is expected to be performed. Holmes said the family is asking for privacy in the matter.
Tyson's daughter was put on life support after she was discovered Monday with her neck caught in a treadmill cord that hangs from the machine's console. Her mother had removed the cord and tried to revive her before she was rushed to a Phoenix hospital.
The former heavyweight boxing champ was in Las Vegas, but flew to Phoenix immediately after the accident.
This is really sad for Mike especially since he has been back in the limelight the last few weeks. R.I.P Exodus Tyson.

On this joint, CPwaa goes in hard. I only have a big problem with most Tanzanian Video productions (The biggest dissapointment was Ali Kiba Cindarella). The background could have been done much better. But apart from that, the track is on point, the production especially and it makes me feel proud for Mama Africa for providing such music and talent.

GERMAN/KENYAN FUSION (UNITING KENYANS WITH MUSIC) PARTY AT CARNIVORE CLUB NAIROBI IN AUGUST.K-NEL EAST AFRICAN TOUR CONFIRMED

After negotiations were closed down this week, I and Carnivore have come to an agreement that I can launch this jump off at their venue (Thanks Mr. Liwali). The event will be presented courtesy of my label Stars Limit on the 22.08.09. As I will be the main Act for the night, bringing the Anglohili flavor to my fellow Kenyans, there will be other supporting acts from Kenyan and Tanzania. At this point I can confirm that Nonini (Genge Godfather) and DJ Wesley (Homeboyz Radio) are already on the perfomers roaster. I will also launch my NAIROBI INVASION MIXTAPE ft DJ WESLEY during the event. My aim is to help bring Kenyans together using music as a tool to mediate and also educate the youth about social issues. Prior to the event on the 22.08.09, various conferences/workshops will be held and heavy radio and Television marketing is expected. Part of the funds raised will be donated to the IDPs and also buy Food to those affected by famine. This is the greatest thing I have ever put together in my life Another showcase will take place in Mombasa on the 30.08.09 (Details coming up soon). Born Kenyan always a Kenyan and I am happy to do something for my own nation. Kenyans......we can!!!

I announced previously that this will be one hell of a busy summer. Thanks to Street Cinema Films (Cologne) for coming up with this exclusive project. In July, I will be shooting my video in Dubai for my 1st single BUSINESSMAN (produced by Phat Chrispy) off my upcoming EP Album titled THE MAKING OF AN AFRICAN LEGEND. Pro 7 TV Camera team will escort me (of course with Cameras) and put together a "K-Nel documentary" which will later be televised on German Television. I will keep you updated.
