Due to increased traffic on our blog, we have decided to cover news on a global scale. This time some breaking news from Germany. Aggro Berlin have had a nearly one decade dominance in the German hip hop scene flooding the streets with albums, mixtapes, videos, merchandising, name it. It's impossible to talk about German rap without mentioning their name.
Fler, also crowned as Germany's bad boy,has been part of the label for the last 6 years. In this time frame, he released 3 LPs and his fourth album is dropping later this year. Fler announced that he has officially left the label but didn't mention any negative vybe between him and the label (although there were speculations that he had issues to sort out with Aggro Berlin).
Won't be suprised though if I hear a Fler joint "dissing" Aggro Berlin........

Tsutomu Yamaguchi had already been a certified "hibakusha," or radiation survivor, of the 9 August 1945 atomic bombing in Nagasaki. Now it has been confirmed that he also survived the attack on Hiroshima three days earlier.

Yesterday was a great day for K-Nel. Directed by no other than Metaphysics (Söhne Mannheims), the video was shot in Wuppertal. Matter of fact, we will not go into details until you you see the video yourself. The video is expected to be done by Tuesday the 24.03.09 and will be world premiered on the blog page + on K-Nel's official site www.k-nel.com. The World premier will be done in two parts i.e first the Video commercial to Kenyawood 2 will be uploaded first and 3 days later, the official video will drop. Expect the unexpected and hopefully the pic above might give you a hint of what will be on the video.

There is always mixed discussions about how people feel about Jim Jones and his music. I checked on diffrent blogs and saw the reaction to this trailer. I was schocked that many people reacted negative to the trailer calling Jimmy "Jenny" and all that. You right fellaz, calling out Jay-Z the whole time won't help a brother and when Dame said "Pray 4 Reign" is gonna be better than Jay's Reasonable doubt, I tatooed that as "blasphemy". HUNGER WATCH IN KENYA

The Kenya Red Cross Society has received Sh46 million from donors to help address food shortage in the country. The society’s Deputy Secretary General James Kisia said the donations to the drought appeal have been received from companies, corporate organisations, businesses and members of the public. Dr Kisia said the group had so far distributed 2,279 metric tonnes of food to people in famine-stricken regions.
The Standard Group has also launched Sh20 million fund dubbed ‘Mercy Train — Tuungane Tuokoe Maisha’ to help the food crisis. The initiative will be running from Nairobi to Mombasa, stopping to drop food in areas affected by the drought.
