Gospel music in Kenya is on a platform that no other Genre of music in the country can touch! Groove Awards honours Gospel Artists for their work. I am glad to have shared the stage with Jimmy Gwait during my show at Thika Stadium. My favorite Kenyan Artist currently is Juliani (don't confuse that with Jua Kali). He is an Artist with his own style and swagger and his voice is unique. Although he does Gospel Rap, Juliani who was a former member of Ukoo Fulani has crafted his gift into a different direction, making you even fall in love with Gospel. His new Album is fireeeeeeee and get's 5 Anglohili M.I.C.S.

Ask me and I personally like the video and the song. Jaguar, the rides u got here are wicked! Better respect Jaguar for his hustle. I witnessed this in Kenya and Jaguar was everywhereeeeeeeeeee! TV,Radio,NewsPapers mpaka Taifa Leo front page. The quality of the video is presentable and I hope to see such Kenyan videos in the future.

Video Of The Week: While I was in Kenya, this song was on heavy rotation and I have always stressed the creativity of this cat many times. I won't take this opportunity to expose the business side, but all in all, it's a nice song. Mejja could go places if marketed well. Is this being done? Time will tell.

Jay-z has done it again! Studying alone the way this album was marketed, dude is on another level. Jay-Z was simply everywhere: Oprah, Radio Interviews, TV Interviews and performances including The Jay Leno & David Letterman shows, Madison Square Garden 09/11 concert which was sold out in less than 30 seconds to mention but a few. I haven't witnessed an album receive this kind of massive promo. I learned a lesson or two. With the CD sales deteriorating and the transformation of the music game, gotta give him the credit for this and I admit, BP3 was a solid Hip Hop album. No finger snapping, Wavy legs or whatever they called. Strictly a grown ass man LP that I love to bump to.

JUA KALI & ABBAS VIDEO BEEF REPORT + ABBAS FREESTYLE'S ON THE PHONE LIVE!!
How the whole story started.......during The Game Tour in Kenya last year. Jua Kali came out to perform and Abbas simply made a statement that they should have brought out a Hip Hop Act instead. Jua Kali somehow felt disrespected and since then has been throwing jabs at Abbas the whole time. He has released a record called "Siyo Kupenda Kwangu" which I consider weak. This is a bad career move and honestly, dude should stick to doing his love songs. It's like a Techno Artist Dissing a Hip Hop emcee.That's how I would compare them.Sorry!!
